Thank you. Is there no description of what they propose. It is extremely difficult to figure out what they are changing and removing from the approved plans they show.
Yes I would be pleased if you could request whomever is handling these changes to get in touch with me very soon.
Sadly from what I can see they are trying to cut back on trees and screening from the east side of the property as well as showing a large generator area directly on our property line.
They have already destroyed our ficus hedge and I am concerned as to what they are doing as soon as we have to cut down our 15 foot hedge.
    Appreciate your assistance

    Dear Members of the Commission,
I am very pleased to write a letter in support of the renovation work being conducted a few houses away from mine at 250 Sandpiper Drive.
Having recently completed a substantial renovation at our house on 224 Sandpiper, my wife and I have been very impressed with the care and concern the Guest Family has taken to their renovation vis-a-vis our quiet enjoyment.
The General Contractor is always inquiring if there is anything they can do to make this period easier for us, and I have never witnessed any bad behavior by their crews. Treating one's neighbors with respect and courtesy is important to me, and it is clear through their actions that Achille and Judith share that belief, too.
I have known Achille Guest for decades, and more recently his lovely wife, Judith. I know them to be straightforward and honest people who believe deeply in the traditions of Palm Beach. I had the great pleasure many years ago of spending the weekend at Achille's ancestral farm, Powhatan near Richmond, Virginia. I was so happy to see the extent to which he had preserved some of the loveliest land I have ever laid eyes on, employing the highest standards of community and environmental stewardship. I have no doubt that the same belief system will inform Achille and Judith's life at 250 Sandpiper Drive.
Let me close by thanking the committee for taking the time to read this letter. I am very grateful for your vitally important work to ensure thoughtful planning in Palm Beach.
    With kind regards,
    NICHOLAS PROUTY

    Hi!
My wife, Anita, and I live at 217 Sandpiper.
We are very much in favor of the plans for 250 Sandpiper. The plans will enhance the home and the neighborhood.
    Sincerely,

    Good morning mr. Bergman
As per the suggestion of the arcom representatives, I have been communicating with mr.dustin mizell of environment design group who have indicated to
me that they represent the owner of 250 sandpiper drive with regards to changes they wish to make at the upcoming ARCOM meeting august 28.
There are two matters that directly affect our property next door to the east. 1 is the installation of a generator on the rear east side of their property. He assures me that
It will be completely enclosed by high four sided walls. Despite the fact that a generator was removed from previous plans we have no objection provided it is installed as they have indicated (completely enclosed by a block wall)
2/ is the matter of the landscaping of the entire east side of the property. As per the attached drawing, he is now showing that the very tall trees that were to be installed on the east side of their block wall will now be installed on the west side of that wall as indicated.
Again, we are in agreement with this change provided that the wall (east side of the wall) is painted white as shown and is maintained by the owners in permanent good standing, and that the trees that are planted are of sufficient size and height to do the screening job from day 1.
I would like this email to be presented to ARCOM for their consideration and comment. I am trying to be as cooperative as I can with our new neighbours and avoid future problems.
Hopefully ARCOM will incorporate these comments into their legal decision to protect both property owners.
    Many thanks,
    William Shenkman
