For many years (since 20010 approx) the owner of the Rare Book Store and the owner of Le Croisette would stand out on Worth Avenue smoking cigars shooting the breeze. The smell was unpleasant as you passed along. Now the owner of the Rare Book Store has opened his Churchill Cigar Store and the smell now permeates all the areas around it no matter how "effective" the air purifiers are. I read the recent Shiny Sheet article about the neighboring store The Real Real complaining about the smell and it is definitely a concern I would have. Granting the Cigar store owner the license to add not a noise nuisance but a smell nuisance to our beautiful town is a mistake. What happens when he begins selling legalized marijuana at this site? That horrible smell will be wafting out onto Worth Avenue as well. Please do something about this noisome smell which has been a nuisance for pedestrians on Worth hoping for a pleasant walking experience. Thank you Town Council! We love our beautiful town of PALM BEACH!!!
