Now that we’ve stopped the plague of white concrete blockhouses, by settling down with the colonials, it’s time to add more variety.
First, how about a few abstract expressionisms adopted from today’s painting world, then a few throwbacks, Art Decos etc. etc. ?
    Perfection is not perfect.

    Dear ARCOM Commission,
We are writing you all today in regards to our directly abutting Town Parks on Park Ave. As you may be aware at this point, the surrounding neighbors were not notified of a major transformation project which went to Town Council and is now deferred to a later date. We request that the park design be heard by the full commission and allow input from the neighbors. We as a group are firmly against any walls, structures and pathways in our clear, open green-space parks. Understandably the need for utility easements with surrounding landscape is up to the Town and welcomed by the neighbors. The clear visibility and openness of the parks provide a necessary level of safety and enjoyment for all the surrounding neighbors and residents. Hopefully the commission views our parks as they view all other Residential Town Parks and maintain their peaceful enjoyment by our community.
    Sincerely,
    Patrick & Lisa McGowan

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen of the Town of Palm Beach Town Council:
We have lived at 150 Canterbury Lane for 17 years and feel blessed to make this our residence.
We both love the Town of Palm Beach and very much appreciate the work of the Town Council that continually makes community a very unique and special place.
For the last several years, we have noticed that the traffic around Bradley Place, Sunrise Avenue, Sunset Avenue, and County Road during the high season has been increasing dramatically and is a complete gridlock during much of time.
If is our understanding that on July 10th, the Town Council is going to consider the proposed renovation of the Paramount Building at the corner of County Road and Sunrise Avenue.
At this meeting, the developer plans to propose a private club in the building with a membership of approximately 450 people.
THIS IS THE LAST THING OUR WONDERFUL TOWN NEEDS DUE TO THE INCREASED TRAFFIC THE CLUB WOULD GENERATE.
WE ARE VEHEMENTLY OPPOSED TO THIS DEVELOPMENT AND URGE THE TOWN COUNCIL TO REJECT IT.
Thank you very much for your good work on behalf of all of the Town of Palm Beach residents.
    Sincerely,
    Connie and David Blue

    To the Town Council:
I am writing to express my concern about the aggressive Paramount project. My wife and I are residents and live on Polmer Park Road. It is already challenging to drive from our house toward town, particularly in late afternoon. Bradley Place is a disaster, and it is often impossible to leave Publix as the Sunrise intersection invariably is gridlocked.
The Sunset-North County intersection is also a traffic disaster already. If the Paramount were to morph into a private club, the increased usage ( club members and service vehicles of all types) would result in inevitable gridlock. We need to reduce traffic, not increase it, in this area particularly.
Please reject the proposed club or any other usage in the Paramount that would increase traffic.
