I would like to offer a shuttle or golf cart option for the restaurant employees. They can park in a lot in West Palm Beach and take a ride over. This will save the spaces for consumers and locals and also give the employees a chance to work without getting tickets or taking up space. I have this in the works if we can get Palm Beach to agree.

The introduction of an hourly parking fee on Palm Beach Island is not only unfair but also detrimental to the well-being and financial stability of those who dedicate their time and energy to keeping this community thriving. These employees, who already face the high cost of living and commuting to the island, should not be further burdened by an additional expense simply for parking while they work long and demanding hours. This policy disproportionately impacts workers who contribute to the island's economy and service quality, placing an unnecessary financial strain on them. We urge the reconsideration of this policy in favor of a more equitable solution that supports the hardworking individuals who make Palm Beach Island the vibrant and successful community it is.
    Thank you

There’s town residents, there’s town people, there’s town visitors, there’s town workers, there’s town elite, there’s town common folk, there’s town citizens.

There’s nothing simple about the recent surplus of folks crossing over to Palm Beach Island in these current times! Long are gone the golden “hidden gem” days, where traffic was at a reasonable minimum on the island.

Let the record show that the working class, attempting to commune onto the town for essential life necessities attained by merit; stand absolutely no chance of influence on this topic at hand, against the super elite “decision makers” of this island.

I pray to God that he works his will over this and every situation in Palm Beach, FL.

Hourly parking is a huge help to the restaurant employees who help everything run on a day to day basis hoping there is a way to see through this.

Taking away free parking for employers on the island to use isn’t ideal. Most of us cannot afford to spend 50-75% of our paycheck on the meter fees. We keep palm beach alive by working at your favorite restaurants and places. Please reconsider or come up with a solution to help us. Thank you.

    Dear palm Beach Council
I would like to express my concern about the paid parking policy.
It’s making it difficult or impossible for employees to find parking.
I ask kindly to revisit this decision.
    Sincerely

The paid parking initiative poses challenges for employees like me and many others, who rely on accessible parking. This policy needs to be reconsidered to better support those who serve our community.

I oppose to the new pay to park circumstances because I think it is ridiculous to have to pay to come to work as a restaurant worker.

    Dear Palm Beach Council,
The parking fees are way too high for restaurant workers. Please advise a better solution.

I am opposed to this new parking management. People who are running businesses have no where for their employees to park.
