    Dear members,
I am writing in support of new hurricane windows under consideration for the Landmark agenda on August 16, 2023 - 23-006 in our North End neighborhood.
I live next door to the Smith's. They have taken great care in proposing a plan that will keep with the charm and character we on the North End of the island hope to maintain. The Smith's are thoughtful and considerate and always strive to accommodate and support their neighbors in any way they can.
We both have a keen interest in keeping the homes on the North End tasteful and right-sized - protecting the neighborhood's peaceful spirit.
Thank you for your work and consideration,
    Lulu Carter

    To Whom it May Concern,
I am writing in support of the new hurricane impact windows under consideration for Landmarks agenda on August 16th, 2023 for my neighbors Taylor and GE Smith at 210 Debra Lane. We live within the radius at 210 Manana Lane and are in full support of this project.
The Smiths have taken great care in proposing a plan that complements the charm and character of their North end cottage. Their plan is thoughtful and considerate and in keeping with the architectural flavor of their home. The choices they have made in regards to any improvements are always mindful of the surrounding homes and neighbors.
Window replacement is a necessity for many older homes and the Smiths recognizing the importance of their choices have curated with great consideration and good taste.
We all strive for our neighborhood to retain its charm while allowing it to modernize where needed. This is certainly an example of a necessary improvement that is both mindful and appropriate for the size, style and location of their home. This improvement retains the flavor and is in harmony with its surrounds. Thank you for your consideration and feel free to call with any questions.
    Kind Regards, Jane and Joel
